Three-phase servo with variable-speed torque curves
The SH32052P12A2200 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, delivering 7900 W continuous power. Its nominal speed depends on the supply: 500 rpm at 115 V single phase, 1000 rpm at 230 V single phase, 2000 rpm at 400 V three phase, and 2400 rpm at 480 V three phase. Nominal torque follows the same pattern: 545.2 lbf.in (61.6 N.m) at 115 V single phase, 495.6 lbf.in (56 N.m) at 230 V single phase, 337.2 lbf.in (38.1 N.m) at 400 V three phase, and 251.4 lbf.in (28.4 N.m) at 480 V three phase. Peak stall torque reaches 1947.2 lbf.in (220 N.m) across the 115...480 V three-phase range.
Encoder, protection, and mechanical fit
Fitted with an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder, this motor gives position feedback down to the multiturn count — no home cycle needed after a power loss. The IP65 motor and shaft bushing, plus IP67 housing per IEC 60034-5, let it handle washdown environments without a secondary cover. The shaft is 1.5 in (38 mm) diameter with a parallel key, 3.1 in (80 mm) long. It mounts on an international standard flange with a 7.09 in (180 mm) centring collar and 0.6 in (14 mm) mounting holes. Natural convection cooling means no fan — quieter, but the thermal budget depends on the mounting surface and ambient airflow.
