Motor ratings and torque delivery
The SH32053P02A2200: Rated for 10.6 kW continuous power at 400 V three-phase, with nominal torque of 50.7 Nm at that voltage. Peak stall torque hits 330 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range — enough for aggressive acceleration in a pick-and-place or indexing axis. Continuous stall torque is 94.4 Nm at 33.2 A continuous stall current, so the motor holds position under load without overheating. The torque constant of 2.84 Nm/A at 120 °C copper gives a linear current-to-torque map for the drive tuning.
Encoder and feedback for closed-loop control
Fitted with an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — single-turn resolution plus 4096 turns multiturn. No homing sequence needed after a power cycle; the axis position is known on boot. The SinCos analog tracks give the drive fine velocity ripple data for low-speed smoothness.
Environmental sealing and mounting
IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5. That means the motor survives washdown and airborne dust — suitable for food processing or wet machining lines. The rotatable right-angled connector lets the cable exit point be adjusted on-site without opening the housing. Mounts on an international standard flange with a 205 mm flange size and 180 mm centring collar. The smooth shaft (1.5 in diameter, 3.1 in length) accepts a keyless coupling or a clamping hub — no keyway to clock.
