Its nominal torque drops from 84.9 Nm at 115 V single-phase to 40.2 Nm at 480 V three-phase, so the supply voltage directly determines the usable torque in the application — a 480 V line gives about half the torque of a 115 V line, but at higher speed. The nominal speed range spans 500 rpm at 115 V single-phase to 2400 rpm at 480 V three-phase, making this motor suited for applications that need both low-speed torque and higher-speed throughput depending on the available line voltage.
Absolute multiturn Hiperface encoder and holding brake — position-hold capability

The motor carries IP54 on the shaft bushing without a shaft seal ring and IP65 on the motor body per IEC 60034-5 — the shaft bushing is the wet-end barrier, so in washdown environments the seal ring must be specified separately. The IP65 motor body itself withstands hose-directed water, suitable for food processing or outdoor conveyor lines. Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan or forced air required. This simplifies installation in enclosed spaces but means the continuous torque rating assumes free air circulation around the motor frame.
The motor mounts to an international standard flange with a 205 mm flange size and 180 mm centring collar, compatible with common gearbox and machine-frame interfaces. The smooth shaft (38 mm diameter, 80 mm length) accepts standard couplings or pulleys.
