Motor ratings across supply voltages
The SH32053P12A1000 is a three-phase servo motor whose nominal speed and torque depend on the supply: at 115 V single phase it delivers 500 rpm and 751.4 lbf·in (84.9 N·m); at 480 V three phase it reaches 2400 rpm and 355.8 lbf·in (40.2 N·m). Continuous power is rated at 10,600 W, with a continuous stall torque of 835.5 lbf·in (94.4 N·m) across the 115–480 V three-phase range — this is the holding torque at zero speed, not the running torque at rated rpm.
Feedback and electrical interface
The motor carries an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — this gives position feedback at power-up without a homing sequence, which saves cycle time on multi-axis lines. Electrical connection is via a rotatable right-angle connector or a straight connector — choose the straight version when cable routing is axial, the right-angle when space is tight against the machine frame.
Mechanical fit and environmental protection
Shaft is 1.5 in (38 mm) diameter, 3.1 in (80 mm) long with a parallel key — matches standard NEMA or IEC metric interfaces for coupling to gearboxes or pulleys. IP54 on the shaft bushing without seal ring, IP65 on the motor body per IEC 60034-5 — the motor withstands washdown spray and airborne dust, but the shaft seal ring must be fitted for continuous wet environments.
