The TM3DQ32UK is a 32-point transistor output module for the Modicon TM3 I/O family, wired with NPN (sink) logic and rated at 24 VDC, 100 mA per channel. It is a purely electronic module powered from the backplane bus, drawing 5 mA at 5 VDC and up to 20 mA at 5 VDC with outputs on. Outputs switch on and off in 450 µs maximum per transition, and the module provides 500 VAC isolation between the channel and the bus. The off-state leakage current stays at 0.1 mA, and the voltage drop across a conducting output stays under 0.4 V. Designed per IEC 61131-2, the module mounts on a standard 15 mm or 7.5 mm DIN rail or panel. Operating range: -10 to 35 °C vertical, -10 to 55 °C horizontal, with vibration and shock ratings of 3.5 mm/3 gn and 15 gn.
Integration notes
Outputs use an HE-10 connector; verify cable assembly pinout before termination. The module is 1.3 in (33.5 mm) wide, occupying a single slot on the rail. Unshielded cable runs to the output load are limited to 5 m. Each output is limited to 100 mA continuous; the total tungsten lamp load is under 1.2 W. A green LED per channel indicates output status.
