Product details

Overview

The TM3TI4 is a Modicon TM3 analog input module from Schneider, offering four universal inputs that accept thermocouple types J, K, R, S, B, T, N, E, C, RTDs (Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000), and voltage/current signals (0-10 V, -10 to 10 V, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA). Resolution is 16 bits (15 bits + sign) with a conversion time of 100 ms per channel. It mounts on a standard DIN rail (TH35-15 or TH35-7.5) or panel, is rated IP20, and operates from a 24 VDC supply. The module is CE marked and complies with IEC 61131-2.

Compatibility and integration

The TM3TI4 is compatible with Modicon M221, M241, M251, and M262 controllers, making it a drop-in expansion for those platforms. It uses a screw terminal block and requires twisted shielded pair cable up to 30 m for analog inputs. Compared to the TSXSCP112 (a PCMCIA card with Uni-Telway/Modbus interface), the TM3TI4 is a DIN-rail module with no memory card slot and a lower switching current (0.045 A).
