The VW3A7811: Physical footprint: 1140 mm wide, 620 mm deep, 1150 mm high. That's a substantial enclosure — plan for floor-mounting or a dedicated compartment in the panel. Connection is via M10 bar wire, meaning you'll need lugs sized for M10 studs and cable rated for the peak current. Thermal protection is handled by an external thermal overload relay (not integrated), so you must wire that relay's NC contact into the drive's braking transistor enable circuit or a separate contactor — otherwise an overtemperature event leaves the resistor unprotected.
