Washdown-Rated Inductive Sensor, Factory-Fresh
The XS212SANAM12 is a current-production inductive proximity sensor from the XS2 series, designed for environments where water ingress and corrosion are real concerns. The 316L stainless steel body with nickel-plated finish carries IP67 and IP69K ratings, meaning it holds up against high-pressure, high-temperature washdown cycles common in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical lines. Sensing is unshielded with an 8 mm maximum range from a 12 mm threaded barrel, NPN normally-open output sinking up to 200 mA at 12-24V DC. The M12 quick-disconnect connector (4-pin) keeps wiring simple and replaceable without re-terminating the cable.
