The XS230AAPAL2 is a current-production inductive proximity sensor from Telemecanique Sensors' XS2 series. It's a cylindrical M30 threaded body with a PNP normally-open output and an unshielded sensing face rated for 15 to 40 mm. The switch is wired with a 2-meter prewired cable, bare leads, and pulls up to 200 mA from a 12-48 VDC supply. Two IP ratings are listed — IP68 and IP69K — so it's built for washdown environments where high-pressure, high-temperature spray is routine.
