Field brief
The XS230AAPAM12: M30 threaded cylindrical inductive sensor from the XS2 series, unshielded with a 40 mm max sensing range. Output is PNP normally open, rated for 12–48 VDC supply and 200 mA load. Connection is a 4-pin M12 quick-disconnect. IP67 and IP69K enclosure plus NEMA 4X — this sensor handles high-pressure hot-water washdown cycles common in food processing or car wash lines. Nickel-plated PPS body resists chemical attack and corrosion. Operating temperature span covers –13 to 185 °F. Sensing distance min/max 15–40 mm, so fine positioning is not critical — this is a presence or position-detection sensor, not a precision gap gauge.
