The XS618B4MAU20 is a 24 mm shielded inductive proximity sensor from the XS6 series, rated IP67 and IP69K. The IP69K rating means it withstands high-temperature, high-pressure washdown cycles — a deciding factor for food and beverage lines where daily CIP with hot caustic is standard. It operates on 24-240V AC or DC, so one part number covers mixed control voltages. No separate DC supply needed if the panel runs on AC. Sensing distance is 15 mm, and the shielded face allows flush mounting in metal without derating. Output is a 2-wire normally open — simple, reliable for detecting metal targets. The nickel-plated brass body and 1/2 in threaded connector resist corrosion and mate with standard quick-disconnect cables. CE, CSA, and UL certification is confirmed, easing site acceptance.
