What it is
The Telemecanique Sensors XS912RWPAM12 is an inductive proximity sensor in the XS9 series, built as a shielded M12 threaded cylindrical barrel aimed at general-purpose position detection on automation lines. It runs on 12-24V DC only — the AC voltage rating is not stated because the device is not intended for AC supply — and switches through a PNP normally-open 3-wire output terminated at an M12 connector with 4 pins. The sensing face is shielded, with a usable range of 4 to 8 mm, so target metal needs to be sized and positioned inside that window for reliable switching.

Overall height of 60 mm sets the vertical clearance the fixture must leave when the barrel is through-mounted.
