The Telemecanique Sensors XSAV11801 is an M30 threaded cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from the XSA series, delivering a 15 mm sensing distance in unshielded configuration with a normally closed 2-wire AC/DC output. The 2-wire AC/DC circuit simplifies wiring — same two conductors carry power and signal — and the NC contact (normally closed) means the output opens when metal enters the sensing face. Supply voltage spans 24-240 V AC and 24-210 V DC, with a maximum load current of 350 mA.
Mounting and environment
The M30 threaded brass body with nickel plating and IP67 rating holds up in wet or dusty industrial environments. Unshielded sensing means the full 15 mm range is available without a flush mount, but you need non-metallic standoffs around the target. Prewired with a 2 m cable terminated to bare wire — no connector to spec separately.
