Contact configuration and solid-state compatibility
The 3RH2911-2NL40-0MC0: This auxiliary switch block provides 4 normally open (NO) instantaneous contacts, wired as 13/14, 23/24, 33/34, and 43/44. One of those four is specified as solid-state compatible, meaning its contact reliability is verified down to 5 V and 1 mA — one incorrect switching operation per 100 million cycles at that level. The remaining three are standard NO contacts for conventional PLC or relay loads. The solid-state compatible NO is the one to use for low-energy inputs like a 24 VDC PLC sink card or a safety relay feedback loop where contact wetting current is minimal. The other NO contacts handle higher-current pilot duty without issue.
Snap-on mounting directly onto the front of SIRIUS contactors in frame sizes S00, S0, S2, and S3. No DIN rail — the block clips onto the contactor's front face. For 3RT102 and 3RT103 contactors with the -0LA(0.2) option, an adapter (3RT2926-4NA00 or 3RT2936-4NA00 respectively) is required. Dimensions are 36 mm wide, 47.7 mm deep, and 41.5 mm tall. The depth is measured from the contactor face forward; plan for this protrusion when laying out the enclosure depth, especially in shallow panels.
Wiring and termination
No screw torque to verify — push the stripped wire in and the spring holds it. The 6 kV rated surge voltage resistance and 690 V AC insulation voltage at pollution degree 3 mean this block is suitable for 400/480 VAC control circuits with adequate clearance. IP20 on the front face protects against finger contact but not washdown.
Marked as current production. This is a standard SIRIUS accessory block, widely stocked and quoted to order against BOM quantities.
