SIRIUS Size S00 power contactor — panel-fit constraints
Ratings that decide the load circuit fit
Rated operational current is 10 A at 24 V — that's the continuous current the main contacts can carry in a resistive or lightly inductive circuit at that voltage. For higher voltages, the rating drops: 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 0.8 A at 440 V. The auxiliary contacts (1 NC + 1 NO) are each rated 9 A, which is generous for a Size S00 — enough to drive a small contactor coil or indicator lamp directly.
Terminals and wiring — spring-loaded on main, screw on coil
Main circuit terminals are spring-loaded (cage clamp), accepting 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire. That's a time-saver on the panel line — no screw torque to verify, just strip and push. The coil terminals use screw-type connections; the coil draws 5.1 VA at 50 Hz and a holding power factor of 0.27 at 60 Hz, so a standard 24 VDC control supply with 10 A rating handles the inrush without a separate power supply.
IP20 and mounting flexibility
IP20 on both the front face and the terminals — finger-safe but not washdown-rated. The mounting position allows vertical surface rotation ±180° and tilt ±30° front/back, which helps when the panel layout forces a non-flat mounting plane.
