SIRIUS Size S00 power contactor, 110 VDC coil
The 110 VDC coil (rated value 110 V) pulls in at 85% of rated voltage and holds with a dropout margin typical of DC-operated contactors — expect arcing time of 10 to 15 ms and a DC switching curve that drops from 10 A at 24 V to 0.3 A at 220 V. This matters for battery-backed or rectified DC bus applications where the coil draw and arc suppression need matching to the supply. Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded wire.
DC switching capability and thermal limits
The DC switching ratings are load-dependent: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.8 A at 440 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V. The 230 V AC-1 rating is 6 A, and at 400 V AC-1 it's 3 A. These numbers define the resistive break capacity — for inductive DC loads, derate further per the application note.
