SIRIUS S00 power contactor — 3RT1517-1AF00
It switches loads in control panels, motor starters, and general switching duty up to the AC-1 and AC-3 curves. The S00 frame keeps the footprint compact at 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, and 72 mm deep — fits standard 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022, snapped or screwed on.
The 24 VDC coil holds at nominal and drops out reliably below the pick-up threshold — the 10 A rating at 24 V is the coil inrush, not the main contact current. Main contacts are rated for 12 A per NO and per NC auxiliary contact, so the contactor handles modest control loads directly without an interposing relay. Screw terminals accept 2x 0.5–1.5 mm² or 2x 0.75–2.5 mm² solid/stranded, with a maximum of 2x 0.75–4 mm² — that covers most panel wiring up to 4 mm² without lugging. Switching capacity varies by voltage: 6 A at 230 V AC, 3 A at 400 V AC, 2 A at 60 V DC, 1 A at 110 V DC, 0.3 A at 220 V DC, and 0.8 A at 440 V AC. IP20 on the front and terminals keeps fingers out — no additional shrouding needed inside a closed panel.
