The 24 VDC coil with screw-type terminals is the control interface, and the contactor itself has no built-in auxiliary switch — you add one externally if needed.
The switching frequency depends on the duty class: up to 1,000 operations per hour at AC-1 (resistive), 750/h at AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting/running), and 250/h at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating also sits at 750/h. Auxiliary contact ratings are given per voltage: 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 0.6 A at 440 V. The motor horsepower rating is 5 hp at 230 V. These numbers define the maximum switching capacity for control circuits and small motor loads — stay within them to avoid contact welding. Mechanical life is typical 10,000,000 operations — that is the expected number of no-load cycles before the mechanism wears out. Electrical life will be lower and depends on the switched current and duty class.
For the coil terminals, the spec allows 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded. The main contact terminal screw-type design accepts the full range.
The arcing time is 10 ms at AC. The contactor is rated for 50/60 Hz operation with a 0.25 A / 0.28 A coil holding current respectively.
