The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1050-2ED32-0AH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection, carrying a 50 A rated current at 40 °C and a 52.5 kA breaking capacity at 240 V. The TM210 overcurrent release handles the thermal-magnetic trip curve, so the breaker responds to sustained overloads (thermal) and short-circuit events (magnetic) in a single unit.
The interrupting capacity drops as the system voltage rises: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at both 500 V and 690 V.
Rated current holds at 50 A from 40 °C through 50 °C ambient, then derates to 49 A at 55 °C, 48 A at 60 °C, 46 A at 65 °C, and 45 A at 70 °C.
Auxiliary contacts and signaling
The trip indicator is present, so a visual flag confirms the breaker tripped on fault rather than being manually opened.
Dimensions are 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width, 70 mm depth — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for DIN-rail or panel-mount installation.
