The Siemens 3VA1050-2ED32-0AC0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for 50 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Breaking capacity runs 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V — so the SCCR headroom depends on your system voltage.
Thermal derating and current capacity
Above that it derates: 48 A at 55 °C, 47 A at 60 °C, 46 A at 65 °C, and 45 A at 70 °C. The TM210 release has a 1 s maximum adjustable time delay on the thermal element.
Panel fit and auxiliary contacts
Two HQ auxiliary switches are integrated; no separate aux kit needed. The IP40 front means it's fine in a closed cabinet but not washdown-rated.
