Breaking capacity across voltages
The 3VA2325-5MN32-0AB0: The interrupting rating drops as line voltage climbs: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 17 kA at 690 V. That 17 kA at 690 V is the weak point — if your fault current at 690 V exceeds that, you need a higher-rated frame or upstream current-limiting fuse.
Thermal derating curve
Rated 250 A from 40 °C through 50 °C, then it starts to give back: 240 A at 55 °C, 235 A at 60 °C, 230 A at 65 °C, and 225 A at 70 °C. If the panel ambient sits at 60 °C, you lose 15 A off the nameplate. The operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C.
Panel fit and connections
Three-pole, 138 mm wide, 248 mm tall, 110 mm deep — that depth is the body only, not counting handle throw or rear terminals. Front IP40, so it's fine inside a closed panel but not for washdown zones. The auxiliary contact version ships with 2 HP switches; no undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module on this variant.
