What the ratings mean for fit
The B-curve trips between 3 and 5 times rated current (96–160 A magnetic release), making it the right choice for resistive and general-purpose loads where inrush is modest — lighting circuits, socket outlets, and control transformers. The 10 kA breaking capacity at 230 V means it can safely interrupt a short-circuit fault up to that prospective level without welding contacts or cascading failure upstream. The 1+N-pole format switches both line and neutral, with the neutral pole switching but not protecting — common in single-phase final circuits where neutral isolation is required.
