The 5SN4108-7CN: Width is 18 mm (one modular unit) — drops straight onto a standard DIN rail. Depth at 76 mm leaves clearance in shallow enclosures. Installation depth 70 mm, and mounting position is any, so vertical or horizontal rail orientation is fine. IP20 with connected conductors means it's for inside a panel, not washdown zones.
Environmental and installation notes
Rated for ambient -40 °C to +75 °C, with a derating influence noted at +55 °C and 95% humidity — keep ventilation in tight enclosures. Overvoltage category III and pollution degree 2 suit fixed-installation distribution boards. Vibration resistance 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6, so it holds up in industrial panels near rotating machinery.
