Rated at 10 kA according to EN 60898-1 and 15 kA according to IEC 60947-2, this breaker handles typical industrial fault levels without cascading upstream. The 15 kA IEC rating is the one to use for industrial panel SCCR calculations; the EN rating covers residential and commercial coordination. Energy limitation class 3 means it lets through less energy during a short-circuit, reducing arc damage to downstream equipment.
Voltage ratings and DC capability
Rated 400 V AC (440 V max for both single- and multi-phase operation) and 60 V DC (72 V DC max). The DC rating is relevant for control circuits, battery banks, or solar combiner boxes where the breaker must interrupt a DC arc. The 15 kA DC breaking capacity per IEC 60947-2 is the same as the AC value — unusual for an MCB this size.
Operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, with humidity derating above 55 °C (95% RH to 55 °C, 55% to 70 °C, 35% to 75 °C). Sealable terminals (top and bottom combined) allow tamper-proofing in metering or critical circuits.
