D-curve MCB for motor and transformer circuits
Breaking capacity is 10 kA per EN 60898-1 and 20 kA per IEC 60947-2 / UL 1077. That dual rating matters: the 10 kA figure governs residential-style distribution boards under the MCB standard; the 20 kA figure applies when the breaker is specified as a UL 1077 supplementary protector in industrial control panels. The higher SCCR gives headroom for fault currents in plant-floor sub-distribution. Rated current is temperature-sensitive — the 25 A holds at 35 °C ambient, then derates to 23.8 A at 40 °C, 22.55 A at 45 °C, 21.88 A at 50 °C, and 21.2 A at 60 °C. In a sealed, uncooled panel near a motor drive, that derating is the number that governs the actual load you can protect. The breaker itself is rated for ambient up to 75 °C and down to -40 °C, with humidity limits of 95% up to 55 °C, 55% up to 70 °C, and 35% at 75 °C.
Touch protection is built in (IP20 with connected conductors), and the unit is sealable for tamper-evident applications. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction avoids corrosive off-gassing in sealed enclosures near sensitive electronics.
