Breaking capacity and what it means on site
That puts it in the industrial-grade range—suited for panel feed or sub-distribution where fault current is high. The 15 kA DC rating at 60 V covers battery-backed or rectifier-fed circuits common in control cabinets. The 5 kA per UL 1077 is the supplementary-protector rating for North American panels where it's not the sole branch-circuit OCPD.
C-curve: what it trips on
That's the standard choice for general-purpose loads—motor starters, contactor coils, small transformers, lighting banks—where inrush is moderate. If you're protecting electronics or long cable runs, you'd want a B-curve; for heavy motor or welding loads, a D-curve. Here, the C-curve is the default industrial workhorse.
DIN-rail fit and panel integration
The IP20 rating applies with conductors connected, so it's fine inside an IP54 or higher enclosure.
Environmental and service life
Rated for -40 °C to 75 °C ambient, with humidity derating: 95% RH up to 55 °C, 55% RH up to 70 °C, 35% RH up to 75 °C. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6: ±1 mm at 5 to 25 Hz, 50 m/s² at 25 to 150 Hz.
