Half of the optical pair
The Banner RPBT is the emitter half of a Mini-Beam through-beam photoelectric pair, not a standalone switch — the receiver sits across the beam on the opposite side of the sensing field. Input is 10-30 VDC. The 30 m range is the through-beam rating carried by the Mini-Beam emitter spec.
Cable and panel-side wiring
The unit ships with a 6.5 ft (2 m) integral cable, which is enough to reach the gland plate on most sensor columns without splicing — anything beyond that means a field-terminated extension. Because there are no outputs on the emitter, only the DC input pair runs through the cable: no signal wires to mis-wire at the terminal block.
