The Delta DVPCOPM-SL is a CANopen communication module that handles PDO, SDO, SYNC, Emergency, and NMT message types over a CAN physical layer at baudrates from 10 kbps up to 1 Mbps. The 1,000 m maximum network length at lower baudrates covers most machine-cell layouts without a repeater. Power draw sits at 1.7 W from a 24 VDC supply that tolerates -15 to +20% — so it holds up through a saggy 20.4 V bus and still runs at 28.8 V without a separate regulator. Electrical isolation is rated at 500 VDC between the CAN bus and the module logic.
Integration notes
The removable 5.08 mm pitch connector matches standard DIN-rail terminal blocks, so wiring it into a panel is straightforward — strip 8 mm, insert into the spring cage, done. No special tooling needed beyond a small screwdriver for the cage release.
