1.5 kW on a 230 V three-phase feed, wall-mounted
The Delta VFD015CB23A-20 is the 1.5 kW / 2 HP frame in the C200 economy vector-control line, sized for a 230 V three-phase input drawing 12 A line current — the right size for small pumps, conveyors, fans and mixers on a 240 V three-phase service. It runs four control modes from plain V/F through sensorless vector (SVC) up to closed-loop FOC with an encoder (PG), so the same drive that starts a fan on V/F can later be re-tuned for a conveyor needing speed-hold at low rpm.
What the headroom ratings mean on the load side
200 % torque current is the overload budget — the drive delivers double rated current long enough to break away a loaded conveyor or pump from standstill without tripping. Output frequency reaches 600.00 Hz in normal duty and 300.00 Hz in heavy duty, which covers high-speed spindles and constant-torque conveyor service in the same unit, with the heavy-duty cap the figure to apply when the load is held at rated torque across the speed range.
Lifecycle and the panel-side sourcing picture
Lifecycle is recorded as current production with no PCN or successor on file — the C200 series remains the economy vector frame in Delta's 240 V three-phase line, with the 0.75 kW three-phase sibling in the same footprint ready to drop in where the motor on the BOM is smaller. For a panel-builder, that means the drive joins the same procurement cycle as the contactors and breakers in the cubicle, not a separate expedite.
