16-channel input module for decentralized signal capture
The CP-E16-M8-EL: The CP--M8-EL: The Festo CP--M8-EL is a 16-channel input module rated for 24 VDC nominal with an operating range of 18 V to 30 V, housed in a PA-reinforced enclosure rated IP65 and IP67. Sixteen channel status LEDs give a quick visual on each input's state without needing a connected controller — useful when you're walking a line and want to see which sensor is tripped before opening the cabinet. Ambient temperature range of -5 °C to 50 °C covers most indoor production-floor conditions but won't handle a freezer or a hot kiln zone without derating.
Sealed for washdown environments
IP65 and IP67 mean the module resists dust ingress and temporary submersion — it's suited for food-and-bev lines or washdown zones where a standard IP20 slice would fail. The PA-reinforced housing handles mild chemical exposure (CRC 1 — low corrosion stress) but isn't rated for aggressive solvents or continuous spray.
