180° swing, size 16 footprint
The Festo DRRD-16-180-FH-PA is a size 16 double-acting semi-rotary actuator from the DRRD series, delivering a full 180° sweep with cushioned end-of-travel on both sides. That makes it a fit for quarter-turn-adjacent duty — butterfly-valve actuation, diverter gates, indexing tables — where you need a clean, repeatable swing rather than a pneumatic muscle. Box-to-box the body measures 58 mm wide by 37.5 mm tall by 122.6 mm long, so the slot in the panel or machine frame has to be laid out to that envelope before the bracket bolts down. Pneumatic supply runs through M5 ports at 300...800 kPa working pressure. The 300 kPa floor is the minimum the cushioning system needs to absorb the swing without hammering the end caps; the 800 kPa ceiling is the rated maximum — sized for this rather than a higher drive pressure so the actuator is not over-fed by a standard 6 bar shop-air regulator.
Where it fits the pneumatic kit
The DRRD double-acting design uses air on both sides of the vane, so the 180° stroke is reversible without a spring-return — that means hard-plumbed air on both M5 ports for full control, and the cushioning at both ends tames the standard indexing shock. For a kitting standpoint, the package is the actuator body itself; the mating flange, proximity-switch mounting kit, and tubing fittings are the standard accessories anyone sourcing this for a valve or gate build will pull separately to match the rest of the panel.
