The Festo SMTO-1-NS-S-LED-24 is a magneto-inductive proximity sensor in a compact steel housing — 15.5 x 14 x 42.3 mm — with an M8 3-pin connector. It switches a normally-open NPN output at up to 200 mA over a 10-30 VDC supply, with a visible LED for switching status.

Rated IP67 and good for -25 to 70°C ambient, this sensor is at home on pneumatic actuators, cylinder position detection, or any ferrous-target sensing in wet or dusty lines. The M8 quick-disconnect saves panel wiring time compared to a pigtail — pull the plug, swap the sensor, button up.
