The SOOE-KS-L-PNLK-T is a laser contrast sensor from the SOOE series, built for detecting mark-to-background transitions on fast-moving webs or discrete parts. It uses a red laser spot (class 2, eye-safe under normal use) and a push-pull output that sinks or sources 100 mA, so it drives both PLC inputs and small loads directly. Sensing range is 25 to 120 mm, with a tight spot that resolves fine contrast edges.
The IP65/IP67/IP69K rating means the housing survives high-pressure washdown and temporary submersion — relevant for food, beverage, or washdown zones. The 10-30 VDC supply range is standard for industrial 24 V panels; the push-pull output eliminates the need for a pull-up resistor. Light-ON and Dark-ON switching is selectable, so the sensor works for both mark detection (light-on) and background detection (dark-on).
The 11 mm wide housing fits standard 12 mm slot mounts. Termination is via an M8 4-pin plug — mates to a standard M8 cordset. No tooling needed for the connector; the sensor slides into a bracket and the cable clicks in.
