The Festo SRBS-Q12-12-E270-EP-1-S-M8 is an angular hall effect position sensor designed specifically for DRVS size 12 rotary drives. It reports the drive's shaft angle over a 270° electrical range, giving the controller continuous position feedback rather than just end-of-travel limits. IP65 and IP68 protection means the sensor body and the M8 connector interface are sealed against hose-directed water and prolonged immersion — appropriate for washdown zones in food processing or outdoor handling stations where the drive gets hosed down. The 10 V to 30 V operating range and 50 mA output current suit standard 24 VDC industrial control circuits. The 50 mA limit is the total the sensor can sink; do not parallel multiple loads that exceed that draw.
Mounts via screw fixing directly to the DRVS size 12 rotary drive. The 300 mm pigtail with an M8 plug keeps the connector away from the moving drive axis — plan for a panel-side M8 socket within that cable reach.
