CC-Link remote I/O station with 16 mixed points
The AJ65SBTB1-32DT3 is a CC-Link remote I/O station combining 16 DC input points (sink/source, plus common) and 16 transistor output points (sink type) in a single terminal-block unit. Rated for 24 VDC field power with an allowable range of 19.2 to 26.4 V, each output point handles up to 0.5 A with a common limit of 3.6 A — sized for solenoid valves, indicator lamps, and small contactor coils on a shared common. Inputs present about 5 mA at 24 V through a 4.7 kΩ resistor, with an ON threshold above 15 V and OFF below 3 V, so it interfaces cleanly with standard 24 VDC proximity and limit switches without external signal conditioning.
Panel fit and bus power budget
The unit draws 60 mA or less from the 24 VDC bus with all points ON, so the bus supply needs to budget only that plus the field load current through the commons. IP2X protection and pollution degree 2 rating mean it is intended for enclosed cabinet installation — not for direct washdown or outdoor exposure.
Switching speed and surge protection
Output ON/OFF response is 1.5 ms or less into a resistive load, fast enough for most discrete sequencing but not for high-speed counter or servo index pulses — those need a dedicated high-speed output module. Each output includes a Zener diode surge suppressor, so inductive loads like relays and small contactors do not require external flyback diodes across the output terminals. Leakage current at OFF is 0.1 mA or less, which prevents phantom energisation of sensitive loads like PLC input modules sharing the same 24 VDC rail.
