The AJ65SBTB1-8D is a CC-Link remote I/O station that brings eight DC inputs back to the PLC over one network station. It's built for control-panel install: 87.3 mm wide, 40 mm deep, 50 mm tall — fits in a standard gland-plate layout without crowding the next slice. Rated input 24 VDC (19.2 to 26.4 V allowable), draws 30 mA with all points ON, and each input is photocoupler-isolated with a 3.3 kΩ input resistor. ON threshold is 14 V / 3.5 mA; OFF is 6 V / 1.7 mA. Response is 1.5 ms each way, which is fine for discrete sensing on a conveyor or station interlock.
The 8 points share one common terminal (trapezoid 1-wire type), so all inputs on this unit must be the same polarity — plus common or minus common, chosen at wiring. That's typical for CC-Link remote blocks, but if your field devices mix PNP and NPN, you'll need a separate unit per polarity. Input resistance is 3.3 kΩ, so the 7 mA rated input current is well within a standard 24 VDC sensor drive. Protection is IP2X — fine inside a control panel, not for washdown or dust. Terminal blocks are M3 screw type, 7-point for comms and power, 10-point for I/O — no special tools needed on site.
