What it is and what it does
The Mitsubishi AJ65SBTB2N-16R is a CC-Link small type remote I/O unit with 16 relay outputs, arranged as 16 points per common on a terminal block. It serves as a remote I/O station on a CC-Link fieldbus network, occupying 1 station. Rated switching capacity per point: AC 240 V 2 A resistive load (cos φ = 1) or DC 24 V 2 A; total per common is 8 A. Minimum switching load is DC 5 V 1 mA, so light-signal switching is fine. Response time OFF→ON is 10 ms or less; ON→OFF is 12 ms or less. Unit power supply is DC 20.4 to 26.4 V (ripple within 5%). With all 16 outputs ON, the unit draws 120 mA or less from the power supply.
Mounting and wiring
Mounts inside a control panel at 0–2000 m elevation, pollution degree 2 or less, 0–55 °C ambient. External dimensions 179 mm wide x 50 mm high x 40 mm deep. Wiring: 34-point direct mounting terminal block (M3 screws) for I/O and power; communication and unit power use a 7-point two-piece terminal block. Use appropriate screw torque per Mitsubishi guidelines. Meets JIS B 3502 and IEC 61131-2 impact resistance. Withstand voltage: AC 2830 Vrms/3 cycles between external terminals and ground at 2000 m altitude.
