What it is and what drives selection
The AJ65VBTS2-16T is a 16-point transistor output remote I/O station for Mitsubishi CC-Link networks. Outputs are sink type (common-negative), each rated 0.5 A at DC 12/24 V, with a 4 A total per common terminal — that common limit governs simultaneous actuator loads like multiple solenoids. The station occupies one CC-Link station and communicates via Ver.1.10 dedicated cable (FANC-110SBH or equivalent). Unit power supply is DC 24 V (20.4–26.4 V range), drawing 45 mA with all points ON.
Integration and mounting notes
Mounts inside a control panel (IP 1XB) with dimensions 137 mm wide × 50 mm high × 51.5 mm deep. The 16 outputs terminate on a 2-piece spring clamp block per common (16 points / common). Communication and power use sold-separate one-touch connectors — factor that into your BOM line item for the CC-Link drop cable and power supply connector. Operating temperature range is 0–55 °C; storage -20–75 °C. Pollution degree 2, overvoltage category II. Shock resistance meets JIS B 3502 and IEC 61131-2 (147 m/s², 3 directions). For installations with continuous vibration, derate below 8.4 Hz at 1.75 mm amplitude.
