The Mitsubishi FR-E720-15K is a compact FREQROL-E700 inverter rated for a 1.5 kW three-phase induction motor at 240 V. Output capacity is 3.2 kVA, with a forced-air cooling system that keeps it running in ambient conditions down to -10 °C and up to 50 °C (40 °C in a fully enclosed panel). The enclosure is IP20, so it belongs inside a control cabinet away from dust and liquid ingress. Analog inputs accept 0–10 V, 0–5 V, or 4–20 mA, selectable per terminal. For network integration, the drive carries RS-485, CC-Link, LONWorks, DeviceNet, PROFIBUS-DPV0, and Modbus RTU—covering most industrial fieldbuses without an option card. The control method supports Soft-PWM and high carrier frequency PWM with V/F control, advanced magnetic flux vector, general-purpose magnetic flux vector, and optimal excitation control.
