The Mitsubishi FR-E720-3.7K is a compact inverter from the FR-E700 series, built for three-phase 200V class power and sized for a 3.7 kW induction motor. Rated output current is 17.5 A, with overload capability of 150% for 60 seconds and 200% for 3 seconds — that 200% burst handles high-inertia starts and short overload events without nuisance tripping. Operates on three-phase 200 to 240V supply at 50/60 Hz, with permissible fluctuation 170 to 264V. Forced air cooling.
Where it fits
This inverter is a straight fit for a 3.7 kW motor drive application in industrial machinery, pumps, fans, or conveyors. The regenerative braking torque is rated at 20%, so for vertical loads or fast deceleration a braking resistor add-on is standard practice.
