400 V class drive with 9.5 A ND continuous rating
The FR-E840-0095-4-60 is a Mitsubishi Electric FR-E800 series inverter rated for 400 V class three-phase input — the 0095 suffix indicates a normal-duty (ND) continuous output current of 9.5 A. That current rating is the one to size the motor and cable against; the drive will deliver that current continuously without tripping the thermal model. Out of the box the initial frequency setting is 50 Hz, and the input signal logic defaults to source logic (sinking). The safety stop signal is also fixed to source logic — a detail to note when wiring the safety relay or PLC output, because a sink-logic safety device needs an interface converter.
Conformal coating and safety stop
The circuit board carries conformal coating — this is the version for environments with condensation, light chemical splash, or conductive dust. If the panel location is clean and dry, the standard uncoated variant may be sufficient; for food processing, dairy, or humid compressor rooms, this -60 suffix is the right call. The safety stop signal is fixed to source logic — that means the safety input expects a 24 VDC signal from the safety relay or gate, not a pull-down. Wire the safety loop accordingly; a sink-logic safety output will not drive this input without a level shifter.
