Mitsubishi FX2N-32CCL is a CC-Link version 1.00 remote device station that links a local I/O rack to a CC-Link master over a bus (RS-485) network. It occupies 1 to 4 stations and supports up to 64 stations on the bus, with 32 input and 32 output points per station (the upper 16 of the last station are reserved for system use). Transmission speed is selectable via rotary switch from 156 kbps up to 10 Mbps. The module draws 130 mA from the sequencer's internal 5 V supply and 50 mA from an external 24 VDC supply (±10%). The module integrates with Mitsubishi FX-series sequencers including FX1N, FX2N, FX3G, FX3U, FX3GC, and FX3UC. Communication with the sequencer runs via FROM/TO instructions through buffer memory.
Installation and environment
Operating ambient temperature range is 0 to 55 °C with 5 to 95% RH noncondensing. If the panel sits near a heat source — for example, near a furnace or oven — consider derating or forced air to keep the module below the upper limit. Storage temperature extends from -25 to 75 °C. Grounding must be Class D with resistance 100 Ω or less, dedicated or common ground. The insulation between external terminals and ground is tested at 500 VAC for 1 minute, with a minimum insulation resistance of 500 MΩ at 500 VDC. Vibration resistance: when DIN-rail mounted, the module withstands 10–57 Hz at 0.035 mm amplitude and 57–150 Hz at 9.8 m/s² acceleration. Shock resistance is 147 m/s², 11 ms half-sine pulse, three times per axis. The module should not be used at altitudes above 2000 m.
The CC-Link network requires a dedicated cable (CC-Link dedicated or CC-Link exclusive high-performance cable); these two cable types cannot be mixed on the same bus. The module's code system is NRZI, and error control is CRC (X¹⁶ + X¹² + X⁵ + 1). Power is supplied via the extension cable for the internal 5 V rail and from an external terminal block for the 24 V side.
