What the output ratings mean for your control loop

The 0-10 VDC output, by contrast, is simpler to scale in software and works directly with many VFDs and panel meters that accept a voltage reference. This module snaps onto the FX1N series PLC base unit or expansion bus, occupying the space of a single expansion module. No external power supply is needed — it draws its operating power from the PLC backplane. The terminal block accepts standard analogue cabling; shield grounding at the panel end is recommended for the 4-20 mA loop to keep common-mode noise out of the analogue input card.
