Does It Swap into a Panel Wired for FX3S-30MR/ES?
The FX3GE-40MR/ES: I/O count also diverges: the FX3GE carries 40 I/O (24 in, 16 out) versus 30 I/O (16 in, 14 out) on the FX3S-30MR/ES. A panel designed for 30-point density cannot accommodate the larger controller without additional enclosure space.
Mounting & Integration Notes
Power supply connection: live, neutral, and earth on dedicated terminals. The 100-240 VAC input is auto-ranging. DC service supply is not integrated; an external 24 VDC power supply is required for the input circuits and any expansion modules.
