The Mitsubishi FX3U-16CCL-M is a CC-Link system master block for the FX3U series, handling up to eight remote device stations plus intelligent device stations. It runs CC-Link Ver.2.00 with backward compatibility to Ver.1.10, and transmission speed is selectable from 156 kbps up to 10 Mbps via the rotary switch. The module draws 240 mA from a 24 VDC external supply and occupies 8 I/O points on the base PLC.
The CC-Link Ver.2.00 support means the master can handle expanded cyclic data per station compared to Ver.1.10 — useful if your remote stations are Ver.2-capable devices. The five selectable baud rates (156 kbps to 10 Mbps) let you trade speed for cable length; at 156 kbps the maximum total extension is 1200 m, while at 10 Mbps the distance shortens. The module's station number is fixed at 0 via the rotary switch, so it always occupies the master position on the link.
