The FX3U-64MR-ES/A is a 64-I/O main unit with 32 digital inputs and 32 relay outputs — the relay type handles AC or DC loads up to 2 A per point, suitable for solenoid valves, contactor coils, and indicator lamps without external interposing relays. Powered by 100-240V AC, it runs directly off line voltage without a separate 24V supply for the CPU — the onboard 45W power budget covers the CPU and up to 8 expansion modules on the FX3U bus.
Cabinet fit and integration notes
The unit measures 220x90x86 mm (WxHxD) and snaps onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail — the 90 mm height leaves room for terminal blocks above or below in a 200 mm deep enclosure.
