CPU unit with 64K steps and 96 mixed I/O
The FX3UC-96MT/D is a Mitsubishi Electric CPU unit from the FX3UC series, running a 64K-step program memory on EEPROM. That memory size supports mid-complexity machine sequences — think multi-axis pick-and-place or packaging lines with several hundred ladder rungs and function blocks. It carries 48 integrated digital inputs and 48 transistor outputs, all on one base unit. The transistor outputs switch DC loads at the scan cycle rate without relay wear — suitable for high-speed indexing, solenoid banks, or valve manifolds where cycle life matters.
Form factor and panel fit
Runs on 24 VDC nominal — the same rail that powers field sensors and actuators, so no separate AC supply is needed for the CPU.
