The FX5-16ET/ES is a current-production I/O module for the FX5U series. It detects an input at 5.3 mA typical, 24 V DC nominal, with a ±20% / -15% tolerance. The off state is guaranteed when current drops below 1.5 mA. Photo-coupler isolation between field and internal logic prevents ground loops and noise coupling. External sensor supply range 5 to 30 V DC gives flexibility for different sensor types.
The On sensitivity is 5.3 mA at 24 V DC; off threshold is 1.5 mA or less.
