The Mitsubishi FX5-8AD is an active-production 8-channel analog input module for the MELSEC iQ-F PLC series. It accepts ±10 V DC or ±20 mA DC per channel (input resistance 1 MΩ for voltage, 250 Ω for current) with an absolute maximum of ±15 V or ±30 mA. Photocoupler isolation sits between the input terminals and the PLC backplane; channels share a common reference with no channel-to-channel galvanic separation. Each module occupies 8 I/O points on the CPU head.
