The Mitsubishi FX5-8EYR/ES is an 8-point relay output module that snaps onto the MELSEC iQ-F bus, occupying exactly those 8 I/O points on the CPU's allocation map. Relay contacts handle AC/DC loads up to the module's rated limits — no external interposing relays for general switching. The 9 cm form factor fits the same slot as other iQ-F expansion modules; no extra DIN rail space needed beyond the base unit's footprint.
